Glenn Ozanne works for SMS Cleaning at the Yakima Valley Mall. He is employed as part of the inside maintenance of the janitorial crew. He started working for them in October of 2012. Glenn’s daily duties include cleaning the windows, hourly restroom cleaning, emptying garbage cans, keeping the hallway floors clean, and working to keep inside of the Mall looking clean.
After having a steady job with a large retail business, Glenn found himself without employment and almost homeless. He then went back into group supported services with Entrust. Through this program he was able to take advantage of the opportunity for a working interview with US Metro. With Entrust, Glenn was able to take his training, skill set, and motivation and apply those qualifications to his new position. Since earning the job at US Metro, Glenn has proven himself to be a quality employee. Glenn’s direct supervisor, Ed, speaks highly of Glenn’s work ethic and motivation. Glenn is a dependable, reliable, and a detail oriented employee. He is quick to please his supervisor and interacts with the Mall patrons well.
Glenn almost lost his home due to a poor decision. Entrust has been able to provide him with valuable employment related classes and trainings that have helped him get a job, be a successful employee, and stay in that position long term. Now with his success Glenn wants to be an example for others who are doing what they can to turn their life around and become successful in their community.
