Entrust Recognized as One of Yakima Valley’s Top Non-Profits

Every year the Yakima Herald Republic (YHR) asks residents to vote for the businesses they believe stand out as the best of the Yakima Valley. Entrust is proud to announce that in 2021 we were selected in the category of Overall Best Non-Profit! We want to thank all those within our organization that show up, work hard, and strive to make a difference in people’s lives every day. Thank you!

According to YHR, over 46,000 people voted in the 2021 Reader’s Choice Awards and voted in nearly 200 categories. We were in good company. Other winners in the non-profit category included Yakima Volunteer Attorney Services, Yakima Humane Society, and Rod’s House. We work closely with these organizations and appreciate all they do to serve our community. We would like to congratulate them as well.

John Taylor, Opinion and Special Publication’s Editor at YHR, recognizes the struggle local businesses had during the COVID-19 pandemic. He says this survey is an opportunity to show support for those businesses and what they’ve accomplished in the face of tremendous challenges.

“We can’t think of much of anything for which to thank this year-and-a-half-long pandemic. We can, however, offer our gratitude for the truly inspiring innovation, determination and dedication of the many Yakima-area businesses, organizations, events, and individuals that have endured one of the darkest stretches in anyone’s memory,” says Taylor. “Recognizing nearly 200 of them is what the fifth edition of the Yakima Herald-Republic’s Readers’ Choice Awards is all about.”

There are so many incredible, giving organizations in our community. We are grateful and humbled to be recognized as one of the best. Thank you again to our staff, clients, partners, and community for recognizing our organization.
